encompass such criteria as high stress factors, high duty cycles as well as substantially extended life cycles. Many
mechanical components are specified to insure long life with minimum maintenance. Special manufacturing
techniques such as parent metal design and closer than normal machining tolerances are utilized to insure years of
reliable operation.
